Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician. Ensure the power supply is switched off before commencing. The light fixture attaches to a standard electrical box, and wiring connections will need to be made according to local electrical codes. The removable pins allow for easy access to the internal components for wiring.
Compatibility:
- Bulb Type: Requires a suitable bulb (not included). Consult the product manual or retailer for specific bulb type, wattage, and base size recommendations to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Voltage: Compatible with standard household voltage (typically 120V or 240V depending on region).
Care:
- Cleaning: For the brass components, use a soft, dry cloth for regular dusting. For cleaning the glass panels, gently wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, which can damage the antique finish.
- Maintenance: Periodically check that the removable pins are secure. Ensure no moisture has entered the fixture, especially after cleaning.
