FAQs

Is this jacket made of stretch denim?

This specific model is crafted from traditional non-stretch cotton, known for its long-term durability.

How should I store the jacket?

Always hang your jacket on a wide-shouldered hanger to prevent the fabric from sagging or losing its shape.

Can I put this in the dryer?

It is not recommended. High heat can cause the cotton to shrink or damage the integrity of the seams; air drying is always preferred.

Does this jacket have internal pockets?

This classic design features external chest and side pockets but does not include internal storage pockets.

What does the Better Cotton Initiative partnership mean?

It means the cotton used in this jacket was sourced through programs that improve farming standards, focusing on water usage, soil health, and natural habitats.

Troubleshooting

The jacket feels stiff upon first wear

This is normal for high-quality cotton denim. The jacket will soften significantly with regular movement and natural body heat.

Fabric appears to be fading unevenly

Ensure you are washing inside out and using a detergent formulated for dark or black garments to preserve color intensity.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Timeless, iconic style that never goes out of fashion
  • Extremely durable material that ages well over time
  • Versatile layering piece suitable for multiple seasons
  • Supports sustainable global cotton farming practices

Cons

  • Cotton fabric may require a break-in period for maximum comfort
  • Lack of internal pockets for secure storage
  • Traditional non-stretch material may feel stiff initially

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Levi's Trucker Jacket lasts for years, follow these care instructions:

  1. Washing: Wash sparingly to maintain the fabric structure. Use cold water on a delicate cycle to prevent excessive fading or shrinkage.
  2. Drying: Air dry whenever possible by hanging the jacket on a sturdy hanger to retain its shape. Avoid high-heat tumble drying.
  3. Compatibility: This XXL size is best suited for layering over bulky sweaters or hooded sweatshirts.
  4. Maintenance: To keep the garment clean between washes, brush off surface dirt and spot clean stains with a damp cloth.
