FAQs

What is the main advantage of the platform-top construction?

The platform-top construction provides a firm, even surface that enhances mattress support, prevents sagging, and can extend the lifespan of your mattress.

Can I choose the fabric and color for my bed base?

Yes, the Texas base can be customized with Sloomy's fabric collections, including Plush Velvet, Naples, Coniston, and Dumfries, offering a variety of textures and colors.

What are the storage options available?

Storage options vary by size. Small Single and Single sizes offer no drawers or 2 drawers (left or right). Small Double to Super King sizes offer no drawers, 2 drawers (left, right, or footend), or 4 drawers. All drawers are fully lined.

Does the bed base come with a mattress?

No, the product is the bed base and headboard. A mattress must be purchased separately.

How do I assemble the bed base?

The base requires attaching the chrome gliders and securely bolting the headboard to the divan base. Full instructions are provided with the product.

Are the chrome gliders suitable for all floor types?

Yes, chrome gliders are designed to protect most floor types, including hardwood, laminate, and carpet, while allowing for easy movement.

What is the height of the headboard?

The headboard included with the Texas Divan Bed Base is 26 inches tall.

Troubleshooting

Bed base makes noise

Ensure all bolts and connections, especially for the headboard, are tightened securely. Check that the chrome gliders are firmly attached.

Drawers are difficult to open/close

Verify that the bed base is on a level surface. Ensure no obstructions are within the drawer runners. Check if the drawers are overloaded.

Headboard is wobbly

Re-tighten the headboard bolts and ensure they are fully engaged with the divan base.

Gliders not fitting correctly

Confirm you are using the correct glider attachment points on the base. Ensure gliders are pushed in firmly until they click or seat properly.
