The NTK Oxygen Sensor 91515 is designed for automotive enthusiasts and vehicle owners seeking to maintain peak engine performance, reduce harmful emissions, and protect their catalytic converter. By delivering high-precision data to the engine control unit, this sensor ensures an ideal air-fuel mixture, though it requires specific technical knowledge and tools for correct installation to avoid sensor damage.

While there is no fixed interval, many manufacturers recommend testing or replacing sensors every 60,000 to 100,000 miles to ensure optimal engine efficiency.
NTK sensors often come with pre-applied anti-seize. If you add more, use it sparingly on the threads only, ensuring none touches the sensor tip, as it can cause permanent damage.
Please verify your vehicle make, model, and engine specifications against the part number 91515 compatibility list before installation.
A faulty oxygen sensor can cause a 'rich' running condition, which dumps excess fuel into the exhaust, leading to overheating and premature failure of the expensive catalytic converter.
No, the NTK sensor is factory-calibrated and does not require manual calibration, but the engine computer may need a few drive cycles to 'learn' the new sensor's data.
Clear the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) using an OBD-II scanner, as the computer may need to be reset to recognize the new sensor.
Verify that the electrical connector is fully seated and free of dirt, and check that no wires were pinched during the installation process.
Before installation, always consult your vehicle’s service manual to locate the specific oxygen sensor position. Ensure the engine is cool before beginning to prevent burns. When handling the sensor, do not touch the sensing element with bare fingers, as oils from your skin can damage the sensor's accuracy. Use a dedicated oxygen sensor socket to tighten the unit to the manufacturer-specified torque—do not overtighten, as this can crush the internal seals. Check the electrical connector for corrosion or debris before plugging it in, ensuring a secure and weather-tight connection.
