Shurtape T-Rex Duct Tape - T-REX

T-Rex tape is designed for strong, long-lasting bonds and is suitable for many permanent repair applications, especially outdoors. However, its removability can vary depending on the surface.

While T-Rex tape has an all-weather skin, for optimal adhesion, it is best applied to dry surfaces. If applying to a damp surface, ensure it is not actively wet and press firmly.

T-Rex tape is significantly thicker, stronger, and features a more aggressive adhesive and UV resistance, making it ideal for heavy-duty and outdoor applications where standard duct tape may fail.

The UV-resistant layer is integrated into the tape's skin to provide long-lasting durability. While it significantly extends the tape's lifespan in outdoor conditions, performance may eventually be affected by prolonged, extreme UV exposure.

T-Rex tape provides a strong, durable seal and is resistant to moisture, making it suitable for many outdoor applications that may be exposed to water. However, it is not intended as a primary waterproofing membrane.

Painting directly over T-Rex tape is not recommended as the paint may not adhere well to the tape's surface. For aesthetic finishes, consider covering the taped area with a suitable material first.

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, or moisture. Apply firm, consistent pressure when applying the tape.

Gently heat the tape with a hairdryer on a low setting, then peel slowly. For stubborn residue, a suitable adhesive remover can be used.

While T-Rex is UV resistant, extreme and prolonged exposure to harsh elements can eventually affect performance. Ensure the tape was applied to a clean surface and consider reapplication if necessary.
