This 50-metre alarm cable is designed for security and CCTV installations. It features 8-way/4 pair configuration with tinned copper clad aluminum cores and a durable, flexible PVC outer insulation, making it suitable for low voltage applications. Commonly used for connecting PIR sensors, door/window contacts, and linking control panels. Specifications include: 8 cores, 7 strands per core, 0.22mm² conductor area (CSA per core), 0.2mm diameter per core, 4.5mm outer diameter, 1A current rating, 50V RMS maximum working voltage, and 98.7 Ohms/KM resistance. The PVC jacket is white with a 0.5mm thickness. Please consider voltage drop for long-distance installations; doubling or tripling cores can help achieve greater distances.
