Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
The Hotpoint MyMenu Induction Hob is designed for built-in installation. Ensure you have the correct dimensions and follow the installation instructions in the manual. Professional installation is recommended.
Compatibility
- Cookware: Only use cookware that is induction-compatible. Test with a magnet; if it sticks to the bottom of the pan, it's compatible.
- Power: Ensure the hob is connected to a suitable power supply (220-240V, 50-60 Hz). A qualified electrician should handle the electrical connection.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe the hob with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Spills: Clean spills immediately to prevent them from burning onto the surface.
- Maintenance: Regularly check the hob for any signs of damage. Contact customer service for assistance.
