Setup
- Connect the Hardware: Connect the VX230V to your DSL line using the RJ-11 cable. Plug in the power adapter and turn on the device.
- Access the Web Interface: Connect a computer to the router via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Open a web browser and enter the default IP address (check the product label or manual).
- Configure Internet Settings: Enter your ISP-provided username and password. Configure the wireless settings (SSID and password).
- VoIP Configuration: If using VoIP, enter your VoIP provider's settings (SIP server, username, password).
Compatibility
The TP-Link VX230V is compatible with:
- DSL Standards: ADSL, ADSL2, ADSL2+, VDSL, and VDSL2.
- Operating Systems: Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Care
- Place the router in an open space, away from obstructions and other electronic devices.
- Keep the router clean and free of dust.
- Ensure the router is adequately ventilated to prevent overheating.
- Regularly update the firmware to maintain security and improve performance.
