This stair carpet runner is made using a needlepunch technique, which involves short staple fibres being stuck together and punched with a barbed needle. It is very durable, won't pull or snag, and will not tread down or flatten. The pile is extremely durable and great for pets, being almost indestructible. It is classified as a heavy domestic product, suitable for high traffic areas like staircases. The runner has a latex, gel backing which is non-slip and waterproof. It is also rot proof, ensuring it won't shrink or wrinkle when wet. The texture is fairly coarse with a firm feel, designed for durability and low maintenance rather than luxury. Made from 100% Polypropylene, it is bleach proof, stain resistant, resistant to fading from UV sunlight, anti-static, and moth proof.
