Featuring a new sole and closure system the Genius 10 sees an almost total redesign from earlier Genius models, while retaining the classic Sidi styling and quality that’s made the Genius such a favourite over the years. The Carbon Composite 20 sole is nylon injected with carbon fibre, which results in a light and stiff sole that’s specifically designed to maintain its stiffness and technical features over time. Correct cleat alignment is essential to ensuring comfort and optimum power transfer whilst out riding. The Carbon Composite 20 sole is designed with this in mind: a graduated central section around the three-bolt fitting facilitates easy and precise cleat installation. Genius 10; Elegant rigidity for winning actions! FEATURES: Soft Instep Closure System The Soft Instep Closure System is a wide, anatomically curved strap combined with a soft, thermo-formed EVA pad that distributes pressure evenly over the instep area. The Soft Instep Closure System is adjustable from both sides, perfectly centering the EVA pad over a high or low instep. The system eliminates the need for the High Instep Extender. The Soft Instep Closure System is replaceable. TECNO-3 System Sidi's TECNO-3 System dials in the fit along the entire length of the shoe, adapting the upper to the shape of the foot for a customized fit. Sidi's famously reliable and replaceable closures are improved by an all new proprietary Sidi Wire material that is completely non-binding for intuitive and effortless on-the-fly adjustments. Like most Sidi small parts, the TECNO-3 System is serviceable and replaceable. Sidi Integrated Heel Cup The Heel Cup is integrated with a new design and is light weight and reinforced to avoid deformations after prolonged efforts and pressures. Anatomically shaped, it stabilizes the foot while pedaling. The reflex inserts on the heel provide greater safety to the athlete on the road, helping to signal the presence of the cyclist in conditions of poor visibility. Replacement Heel Pad Sidi cycling shoes include a replaceable polyurethane heel pad for enhanced walkability. Carbon Composite 20 Sole The Carbon Composite 20 Sole is in nylon and injected carbon fiber. The nylon keeps the technical features unchanged over time. The result is a light and stiff sole. The central part of the sole is graduated, with millimetric scale, to facilitate the correct fixing of the cleats. Equipped with replaceable polyurethane heel.
