Charging speed depends on your device's power requirements, but the unit is designed to provide rapid power delivery through its universal output.
It is recommended to prioritize charging the radio itself first to ensure you have enough power for all functions.
No, the SOS torch has specific settings for brightness and emergency signaling, which can be toggled using the flashlight controls.
The hand-crank is intended for emergency top-ups rather than full battery charging; it provides enough power for essential radio use and short light bursts.
The most efficient method is using the USB-C port connected to an AC power source, while solar and crank methods are best for emergency backup.
Ensure the panel is in direct, unobstructed sunlight and that the indicator light shows active solar intake.
Verify that the radio has sufficient battery capacity and ensure the USB-C cable is firmly seated in the output port.
Extend the antenna fully and move to a location with fewer physical obstructions or away from electronic interference.
To begin using your device, ensure it is fully charged via the included USB-C cable before your first outing. The LCD display provides clear indicators for battery levels, which should be checked periodically. When storing for long periods, keep the unit in a cool, dry place and perform a partial charge every few months to maintain the health of the Lithium-Ion battery. While the device is rugged, avoid submerging it in water or exposing the solar panel to harsh abrasives. Always ensure the USB port covers are closed securely to maintain dust resistance.
