This annual herb grows up to 75 cm tall in summer. Dill was already used as a medicinal and spice plant in ancient Egypt, and was well-known and popular in ancient Greece and Rome. The umbellifera presents its yellow flower umbels from June to August: a beautiful addition to your carefully selected bouquet from your own flower garden. If you want to grow dill in a pot, be sure to choose a container of a larger size, as dill grows with deep roots. The best time for propagation is from February in a sunny place indoors as the seed is a light germinator. Spread the seeds on a damp coconut substrate or organic herb soil and press them lightly. Place the seed container in a bright and warm place with a temperature between 20°C and 25° Celsius and keep the surface of the soil moist, but not wet.
