The Side Swiper with Blade is an essential, professional-grade tool designed for window film installers who need to achieve a flawless finish in tight, obstructed areas. Perfect for automotive detailing and architectural film applications, it excels at smoothing film behind brake lights and into deep corner pockets; however, users should exercise caution with the integrated blade edge to avoid scratching delicate interior trim or damaging the film surface during high-pressure passes.

Yes, it is highly effective for tucking film into window frames and around silicone seals in architectural applications.
The Side Swiper is a single-piece professional tool; when the blade becomes damaged or worn, the entire unit should be replaced to ensure surface safety.
When used properly with sufficient slip solution, it is designed to be safe for glass; always ensure the edge is free of grit before use.
Wash with warm water and mild soap, then air dry or wipe with a soft microfiber cloth.
No, it is intended to be used as a finishing tool for edges and tight areas, not for clearing the bulk of water from large glass panels.
Clean the blade edge with a mild detergent and water, then wipe dry to remove any embedded dust or adhesive particles.
Ensure your hand is positioned firmly on the grip and apply even pressure while sliding the tool behind the rubber gasket at a slight angle.
Apply a small amount of slip solution to the film surface to improve the glide of the squeegee.
To ensure the longevity of your Side Swiper, wipe the blade clean with a lint-free microfiber cloth after every use to remove accumulated adhesive residue or dirt particles that could cause scratches. Avoid storing the tool in direct, high-heat sunlight for extended periods to prevent warping of the flexible edge.
Before use, always inspect the blade edge for nicks or debris. If the edge becomes dull or damaged, replace the unit to avoid risking damage to the film or the glass surface. This tool is compatible with all standard automotive and architectural window tinting slip solutions.
