The Djeco Basquiat Craft Activity Set is designed for young artists and creative enthusiasts looking to explore street art styles in a structured, accessible format. The primary benefit of this kit is its use of high-coverage, fast-drying markers that allow for layering and professional-looking results without the typical mess of traditional paints. However, potential users should note that the kit requires precision and adherence to the provided art style, which may feel restrictive to those seeking complete free-form artistic freedom.

This kit is designed for children and young enthusiasts interested in structured creative art projects, typically recommended for ages 7 and up.
No, the 6 high-coverage markers included in the set are not designed to be refilled once the ink is depleted.
The kit includes 4 unique designs, and because there are two copies of each, there are 8 sheets in total to color.
The provided paper is designed to handle the included markers, but it is always recommended to place a sheet of scrap paper underneath if working on a delicate surface.
While you can technically use other markers, the included high-coverage markers are specifically calibrated to the paper texture for the best results.
Ensure the cap is tightly replaced and store the marker tip-down for one hour to allow ink to flow back into the nib.
Ensure the previous layer is completely dry (5 seconds) and use a light touch to prevent the wet ink from picking up the pigment from the layer below.
To begin your project, ensure you are working on a flat, clean, and dry surface to protect the paper sheets from indentations. Because the markers are opaque and intended for layering, ensure that the marker caps are securely snapped shut immediately after each use to prevent the ink from evaporating. If the markers are left uncapped, the fast-drying properties will cause the tips to dry out prematurely. Keep the finished art pieces out of direct, intense sunlight to maintain the vibrancy of the colors over time.
