Setup, Compatibility & Care
For installation, ensure the subfloor is level, dry, and clean to prevent damage to the underside of the insulation. When cutting boards, use a fine-toothed saw to maintain a clean edge and limit dust generation. Ensure all joints are tightly butted together; gaps should be filled with appropriate insulation offcuts or low-expansion polyurethane foam to maintain the integrity of the thermal envelope. The boards should be stored under cover or protected with a waterproof tarp until they are ready to be installed. Avoid walking directly on unprotected insulation boards to prevent surface deformation or puncturing of the glass-tissue facing.
