This tee hinge provides a T-shaped appearance when opened and is an alternative to butt hinges, often used with a suffolk latch on traditional plank doors. The durable black finish is achieved through a high-temperature oven bake, offering salt-tested corrosion resistance for up to 480 hours. Crafted from mild steel using traditional blacksmith methods, this hinge is hammered into shape over an anvil and fire. The band is hinged on a pin attached to the fixing plate. This cranked hinge design allows the door to sit flush with the frame surface, making it suitable for heavy doors and gates. Supplied as a pair with matching wood screws.
