Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To set up the HS-02A, connect the appropriate power cable (DC to Type-C or C2C) to the soldering iron and a compatible power adapter (like the included 100W GaN UK Adapter). Ensure the power source meets the 9-20V working voltage requirement and supports PD/QC protocols for optimal performance. Insert the desired soldering tip firmly into the heating element. The device powers on when connected to a power source and begins heating to the last set temperature.
Compatibility: The soldering iron is compatible with power sources supporting PD (Power Delivery) and QC (Quick Charge) protocols within a 9-20V working voltage range. It requires a USB Type-C or C2C input for power.
Care:
- Always disconnect the power source when the soldering iron is not in use or when changing tips.
- Allow the iron to cool down completely before storing.
- Clean the soldering tip regularly with a damp sponge or brass wool to remove oxidation and flux residue.
- Avoid getting the unit wet or using it in excessively humid environments.
- Store the soldering iron and accessories in the provided tool bag to protect them from dust and damage.
