This new Lindstrom 8148 Diagonal Ultra-Flush Electronic ESD Wire Cutter Pliers is designed for ultra-fine cutting work in electronics and fine mechanics. It features a cutting capacity of 0.1mm - 0.8mm, a small head size, and weighs 45g. The pliers have tapered and relieved heads, ESD-safe mono-material handles with a return spring, and an ultra-flush cut. The stated cutting capacity is for copper wire. Constructed from high-performance alloy steel with a burnished finish, the tool boasts numerically controlled machine grinding for edge angle accuracy and contact, enhancing reliability and consistency. The precision induction hardened edges are 63-65 HRC. A screw joint minimizes friction and maximizes cutting edge alignment, making them ideal for confined spaces and rework. The handles are made of synthetic material with anti-static, conductive grip covers and an opening spring. Manufactured according to strict manufacturing rules, these side cutters offer an ultra-flush cut result.
