FAQs

Can I mount a TV larger than 55 inches on this unit?

The manufacturer recommends televisions up to 55 inches to maintain the aesthetic balance and structural integrity of the media wall.

Does this require a professional electrician to install?

The unit is designed as a plug-and-play electric suite, but given its size and weight, professional wall mounting is recommended to ensure safety.

Can the LED flame effect be used without the heater?

Yes, the suite features a flame-effect-only setting that allows you to enjoy the glowing log bed without running the heater.

Is the mood lighting customizable?

Yes, the integrated top plinth lighting is voice-activated and designed to enhance the ambiance of your room.

Does the unit get hot to the touch?

The heating element is positioned to direct heat outward, but the surrounding media wall structure should remain cool during operation.

Where is the product manufactured?

The Be Modern Oxton suite is proudly designed and made in Britain.

Troubleshooting

Flame effect is on, but no heat is being produced.

Check the thermostat setting; if the room is already warmer than the set temperature, the heater will not activate. Try increasing the set temperature on the remote.

Voice control for lighting is not responding.

Verify that your Alexa device is linked correctly to the smart lighting integration and that the unit's Wi-Fi connection is active.

Remote control is unresponsive.

Replace the batteries in the handset and ensure you are within range of the unit's infrared receiver.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

This suite features a flat-to-wall design, making it compatible with most standard wall surfaces. Because the product is shipped in components, ensure you have sufficient floor space for the assembly process. Once assembled, the unit should be securely mounted to the wall according to the included instructions. Maintenance is minimal: simply keep the air intake and outlet vents free of dust to maintain efficient heating performance, and use a dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth to wipe down the exterior finish. Avoid using abrasive cleaners on the unit's sleek surface to prevent scratching.
