FAQs

Is the light bulb included with the lampshade?

No, the Vibes Lampshade is a decorative accessory and does not come with a light bulb or lamp base.

Can I use this in a bathroom?

Due to the hand-wash-only fabric, it is recommended to keep this lampshade in low-humidity environments like living rooms or bedrooms.

How do I clean the shade if it gets stained?

Gently spot clean with a very soft, damp cloth and mild soap; avoid soaking the fabric.

Does this shade fit all lamps?

It fits most standard lamps with a compatible shade ring or harp fitting, but please check your base dimensions against the 40 cm width.

Is the design visible when the light is off?

Yes, the graphic design is printed clearly on the fabric and serves as a decorative element even when the lamp is turned off.

Troubleshooting

The lampshade appears crooked or tilted

Check that the shade fitter is properly seated on the lamp harp or socket and tighten the finial if applicable.

The light is too dim for reading

The lampshade is designed for ambient, subdued light; consider switching to a bulb with a higher lumen output if you need task lighting.

Visible dust on the graphic surface

Use a soft, dry lint roller or a clean microfiber cloth to gently lift dust without rubbing the surface pattern.

Pros and Cons

Sophisticated graphic design adds immediate style to any room
Creates a soft, cozy, and inviting light quality
Versatile dimensions suitable for various lamp bases and pendants
High-quality construction and design from Spain

Cons

Not machine washable; requires manual care
Specific maintenance needs may limit placement in high-traffic or high-dust areas
Shade style may not fit ultra-minimalist or traditional Victorian aesthetics

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation of the Vibes Lampshade is straightforward, following standard practices for most screw-in or tension-fit light sockets. Ensure your lamp base's harp or shade ring matches the opening of the lampshade for a secure fit. Regarding care, the manufacturer specifies that the product is hand-wash only. To keep the fabric looking pristine, gently wipe the surface with a dry or lightly dampened microfiber cloth to remove dust. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scrubbing tools, as these can damage the graphic print and structural integrity of the fabric.
