Coupling the dual airline respirator with the correct cartridges/filters is vital, and 3M ensures you can uphold your safety and health through the 6000 series respirators. The respirator is reusable as cartridges and filters can be exchanged or disposed of once used to capacity. The 6000 series respirator mask features twin lightweight filters, which can be specialised to suit your individual needs. Fitting the respirator is easy with two straps for a comfortable yet secure fitment, with adjusting straps to ensure it feels snug against your face. Its lightweight design makes this reusable respirator a favourite for professionals, allowing swift fitting and dismounting between jobs. The low profile design doesn't obstruct the field of view. Once the straps are adjusted, the facepiece is fully secured to the user's face, preventing inhalation of harmful gases or particles. The 6000 series offers versatility for various environments and applications with approved cartridges and filters. This respirator and its compatible cartridges/filters can provide protection against a variety of hazards at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL). The 6000 Cartridges, 2000, 2200, 7000, or 5000 series filters are compatible with a 6200 respirator and attach easily with a quarter-turn twist on and off. Offering an alternative to cartridges/filters, the 6000 series can be used with high or low 3M Dual Airline systems, allowing flexibility and easy connections between both systems. The facepiece is made from soft, lightweight material, featuring a cradle head harness and an easy-to-fasten neck strap. The dual filter design and airline system are available with bayonet-style fitting cartridges and filters, offering minimal obstruction to the overall vision. The 6000 Series Reusable Half Masks are economical, low-maintenance, simple to handle, and extremely lightweight. They can also be used with 3M™ Supplied Air Systems for increased convenience and flexibility. The head harness with cradle suspension ensures a comfortable fit, and the lightweight elastomeric material provides comfort during long periods of work.
