The seal measures approximately 9mm in width and 5mm in thickness.

This product is primarily designed for indoor use. Exposure to weather, UV rays, and moisture can degrade the foam and adhesive, reducing its effectiveness and lifespan.

You can easily cut the seal to the desired length using sharp scissors or a utility knife.

While its primary function is draught-proofing, the foam can help to dampen some noise by creating a tighter seal around gaps. It is not a dedicated soundproofing solution.

The lifespan depends on usage and environmental conditions, but it's recommended to inspect it periodically (e.g., annually) and replace it if it shows signs of wear, damage, or loss of adhesion.

Ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned, dry, and free from dust or grease. Try reapplying the seal after cleaning the surface again. For very porous surfaces, consider a primer designed for foam tape adhesion if available.

This seal is designed for gaps up to approximately 5mm. For larger gaps, multiple layers may be used cautiously, or consider a different type of draught excluder.

Ensure the correct thickness was chosen for the gap. If the seal is too thick, it may be permanently compressed. If it's too thin, it won't fill the gap adequately.

Residue can usually be removed with rubbing alcohol or a dedicated adhesive remover. Test any remover on an inconspicuous area first.
