While they are designed for the Crop-A-Dile, other heavy-duty hole punch and setting tools that accommodate eyelets of this size might work, but results may vary. The Crop-A-Dile is recommended for best performance.

They are suitable for thin paper, cardstock, chipboard, and other similar crafting materials up to a certain thickness that the Crop-A-Dile can handle.

Each package contains forty (40) eyelets.

The outer diameter is 12.7 mm (approximately 1/2 inch), and the inner diameter is 4.8 mm.

Aluminum can be painted with appropriate metal primers and paints, but it is not recommended for optimal performance or aesthetics as the paint may chip or wear.

These eyelets are primarily designed for paper and cardstock. While they might pass through thin fabric, they may not set securely or may damage the fabric. Specific fabric eyelets are recommended for textile projects.

Ensure you are using the correct setting mechanism on your Crop-A-Dile tool for eyelets. Check that the eyelet is placed correctly in the tool and that sufficient pressure is applied. Verify the material thickness is within the supported range.

This can sometimes occur if the setting tool is not fully engaged or if the material is too thick. Ensure the tool is firmly closed around the eyelet. If using thicker materials, a second press with the tool might be necessary, or consider if the material is too dense for this type of eyelet.

While designed for various paper types, extremely thin or delicate paper might still tear. Consider reinforcing the area with a small piece of cardstock or adhesive-backed interfacing behind the eyelet before setting.
