Broadfix U Packers are manufactured with a high percentage of post-consumer recycled material. These U-Shims are made from plastic, so they will not swell, shrink, or rot, and they are completely waterproof. They are capable of withstanding higher compressive loads than traditional timber flat packers, making them more economical. The U-Shims are colour-coded according to size for easy identification. The U-Shim is perfect for shimming behind a screw or fixing. For loosely installed fixings, slide the required number of U-Shims over the fixing. The unique comb/clip prevents the U-Shims from falling out, leaving both hands free to tighten the fixing. The Broadfix U-Shims Mixed Bag contains 140 Small U-Shims (55mm x 43mm) and 60 Standard U-Shims (101mm x 43mm). They come in various thicknesses: 1mm, 3mm, 5mm, 6mm, and 10mm, and are colour-coded.
