This humidity sensor is of the electrolytic type and converts the measured ambient value into an impedance, which can then be electrically measured. Suitable for applications such as climate control, household appliances, office and communication equipment, building automation, climate technology, air humidifiers, air dryers, etc. It features through-hole mounting, a measurement range of 20 to 95% RH at 0 to 60°C, a compact size, requires no calibration, and offers excellent linearity, high sensitivity, and long-term stability. The sensor is used for measuring relative humidity in building technology, portable measuring instruments, or for measuring room air conditions. The resistive operating principle means that analysis is simpler than with capacitive sensors. The sintered protective cap, available as an accessory, is water-repellent (hydrophobic) and also protects against dust.
