Full details
The Showerdrape Suctionloc Soap Basket in Silver is designed for anyone seeking a stylish and practical solution to store their bar soap in the shower or by the sink. Its key benefit is effortless, tool-free installation and secure mounting on smooth surfaces thanks to the powerful Suctionloc system. A minor caveat is that optimal performance relies on clean, smooth, non-porous surfaces, and alternative mounting discs are sold separately for other wall types. This soap basket offers a combination of modern aesthetics and user-friendly functionality, featuring a durable chrome steel construction and an innovative suction system that indicates when reapplication is needed.

FAQs
How do I clean the Showerdrape Suctionloc Soap Basket?
Wipe the basket with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning materials as they can scratch the chrome finish or damage the suction mechanism.
What surfaces can I mount this soap basket on?
It is designed for smooth, non-porous surfaces such as glass, polished tiles, metal, and glossy plastics. For textured, painted, or porous surfaces, you will need the Showerdrape Suctionloc Clear Self-Adhesive Mounting Disc, sold separately.
How does the red line indicator work?
The red line indicator is a safety feature. When the suction seal begins to weaken and the holding power reduces, a red line will become visible around the edge of the Suctionloc button. This indicates you should re-press the button to ensure the basket remains securely attached.
Can I use this soap basket in a caravan or boat shower?
Yes, provided you have suitable smooth, non-porous surfaces for the Suctionloc system to adhere to. The strong suction is beneficial in environments with movement.
What are the dimensions of the soap basket?
The soap basket measures approximately 10cm (Height) x 12.5cm (Width) x 9.5cm (Depth).
Does this product require any drilling or tools for installation?
No, installation is completely tool-free. The Suctionloc system uses a powerful vacuum to attach the basket to the wall.
Is the soap basket suitable for outdoor use?
This product is designed for interior bathroom use. Exposure to extreme weather conditions or UV rays may affect the material and suction performance over time.
Troubleshooting
Basket will not adhere to the wall.
Ensure the mounting surface is perfectly clean, dry, and smooth. Remove any soap residue, dust, or water. Press the Suctionloc button firmly and ensure no red line is visible after installation.
Suction fails after a short period.
The surface may not be as smooth or non-porous as it appears, or there might be a micro-leak. Clean the surface and the suction cup again. If the red line indicator appears, re-press the button. Consider using the separate adhesive mounting disc for less ideal surfaces.
Red line indicator is always visible.
This indicates the suction seal is compromised. Clean the surface and suction cup thoroughly. Try mounting on a different spot or a different surface. If the issue persists, the suction mechanism may be faulty.
Basket appears loose or wobbly.
This is a sign that the suction seal needs to be re-established. Remove the basket, clean the surface and suction cup, and re-install by pressing the Suctionloc button firmly until fully depressed.
