The RODE Stereo VideoMic Pro is a high-quality stereo on-camera microphone designed for videographers. It features a matched pair of 1/2-inch condenser capsules in an XY configuration, providing a wide image and natural depth for realistic audio scenes. The microphone includes a three-stage gain control, a high-pass filter (75Hz) to reduce low-frequency interference, and an integrated Rycote Lyre shock mounting system for superior isolation from handling noise. Its ergonomic design and Kevlar-reinforced cable make it ideal for use with DSLRs, camcorders, and large-sensor video cameras. The user-friendly controls on the rear allow for power, equalization, and a -10dB pad for loud sound sources, as well as a +20dB level boost for DSLR preamps. The microphone has a frequency response of 40Hz-20kHz and a max SPL of 134dB. It connects via XLR and has a 10-year warranty.
