Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Measure and Cut: Accurately measure the walls where the moulding will be installed. Cut the CX123 moulding to the required lengths using a fine-tooth saw.
- Apply Adhesive: Apply FDP500 adhesive to the back of the moulding.
- Position and Attach: Carefully position the moulding against the ceiling, ensuring it aligns correctly. Press firmly to secure it.
- Jointing: Use FX210 jointing compound to fill any gaps or joints between sections of moulding and at the corners.
- Priming and Painting: Once the adhesive and jointing compound are dry, the moulding is ready for a final coat of paint.
Compatibility
The CX123 moulding is compatible with most standard interior paints. It is also designed to work seamlessly with other Orac Decor mouldings, such as skirting boards (SX118, SX122, SX137), dado panel mouldings (PX103, PX113, PX120).
Care
- Clean the moulding with a soft, damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the surface.
- Regularly inspect for any damage or separation from the wall/ceiling and repair as needed.
