The Magellan 1500i uses a high-performance megapixel sensor and custom optics for a large reading area, capable of scanning at distances up to 25 cm with 1D sweep speeds up to 1.5 m/s. Powerful decoding algorithms ensure unmatched performance on various 1D and 2D labels, including those that are hard-to-read, truncated, or damaged. Its large reading area and sweep performance make scanning easy and intuitive, even for less experienced users. The consistent, comfortable illumination facilitates seamless reading of 1D and 2D barcodes from printed or mobile sources while minimizing reflections and eliminating flickering that can cause operator discomfort. Datalogic's Motionix™ motion-sensing technology allows the scanner to intuitively switch to handheld mode when picked up, activating an LED aimer and providing good-read confirmation directly on the code with 'Green Spot' technology. When returned to the counter, it seamlessly reverts to stand mode. With its small footprint and attractive design, the Magellan 1500i complements any point of sale or service environment.
