Our 5 Port Gigabit Network Switch is perfect for expanding your network connection when you're short on RJ45 sockets. This plug-and-play device allows you to easily connect more devices by simply running an RJ45 cable from your router to the switch. It includes a power supply for immediate use and is commonly used to network computers for file and hardware sharing, such as printers. It's especially useful when you have a single network cable in a room and need to increase connections from one to four. The switch supports 10/100/1000 Mbps Auto-Negotiation on its 5 RJ45 Uplink ports, with Auto-MDI/MDI-X. It complies with IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, and IEEE 802.3ab standards, and supports IEEE 802.3x flow control. Features include MAC address auto-learning and auto-aging, a non-blocking switching architecture for full wire-speed forwarding, LED indicators for power, link, and activity, and a fan-less design for silent operation. The unit has a plastic case and comes with an external 12V DC 0.5A power adapter and an instruction manual. Maximum CAT5e/CAT6 cable distance to the device is 100m. Standards include ROHS and CE.
