Each post has an overall length of 1600mm (1.6 metres).

Once installed with 245mm below ground, approximately 1355mm (1.355 metres) of the post will be above ground.

These posts are suitable for use with polyrope, polytape, and polywire.

They are designed for easy ground penetration in most soil types. Very hard, rocky, or dry compacted soil may require pre-loosening or gentle hammering for installation.

Each pack contains 20 electric fence poly posts.

The posts are 25mm wide.

While technically possible to cut, this would alter the structure and hook placement, potentially compromising stability and usability. It is not recommended.

Ensure the ground is adequately moist. For very hard or rocky soil, pre-dig a small hole, use a rubber mallet to tap the post in, or slightly loosen the soil before driving.

The spike may not be deep enough. Attempt to drive the post further into the ground, ensuring at least 245mm is embedded. Check for uneven ground or loose soil around the base.

Ensure the material is properly tensioned and seated within the groove of the hook. For some materials, a simple knot or tie around the hook may provide extra security, though this can affect conductivity if not done correctly.

While durable, prolonged exposure to harsh UV rays or chemicals can affect plastic. Store posts when not in use and consider replacing any posts showing significant cracking or brittleness.
