Tikkurila Luja Universal Primer is an acrylic primer designed for use within the Luja hygiene system. It creates a tough, impermeable primer film that, when paired with Luja finishing top coats, prevents moisture damage from frequent washing or consistently high humidity. This primer is suitable for both new and existing surfaces including plaster, dry lining board, previously painted alkyd coatings, timber, wood fiber board, blockwork, and concrete. It is ideal for environments such as kitchens, bathrooms, hospitals, swimming pools, and high-traffic areas. For easy application, we recommend using a brush, roller, or spray. It is a water-based solution with ultra-low VOCs.
