Benchtop belt sander for modelling and fine craftwork. The belt tilts from 0° to 90°, allowing for vertical to horizontal sanding. It includes a mitre fence for accurate angle sanding and a strong die-cast aluminium table measuring 210mm x 145mm. The belt size is 50mm x 533mm. This stationary belt sander is ideal for fine sanding and minute corrections on various materials including soft and hard woods, non-ferrous metals, steel, plastics, and cork. It can sand long edges, end sections, radii, and mitres. The sturdy, plane-milled die-cast aluminium table provides ample support for small workpieces and features a mitre slot for precise angle adjustments. A scale and locking knob allow for easy angling of the belt from 0° to 90°, enabling vertical, flat, or any angle in between. When used flat, the mitre fence acts as a stop. The TB50 is powered by a balanced DC-motor with a no-volt release switch. The 50 x 533mm belts run at 400m/min for efficient sanding. Spring-loaded rollers facilitate easy belt changes and fine adjustment of belt tracking. A well-designed dust hood effectively captures dust when connected to a vacuum. The compact design allows for easy storage. Replacement belts are available in 100g, 180g, and 240g.
