The North Face Resolve Jacket - Black - XS

HyVent is a technology developed by The North Face that uses a polyurethane (PU) coating to provide waterproof and breathable protection. It is designed to keep the outer surface dry while allowing moisture vapor from the inside to escape.

The Resolve Jacket features a lightweight mesh lining, which provides a comfortable inner feel and a slight barrier. It is not heavily insulated and is designed primarily for waterproof protection, intended to be layered with warmer clothing in colder conditions.

Machine wash cold with a liquid detergent (no powder, no fabric softener). Tumble dry on low. To restore water repellency, use a DWR spray or wash-in treatment after cleaning.

The hood is designed to be rolled away and stored within the collar. It is typically not fully detachable.

It is recommended for hiking and walking, offering reliable waterproof protection for general outdoor activities in wet weather.

The jacket can be folded and stowed into one of its own pockets, compressing it into a small, portable size ideal for carrying in a backpack.

The brushed fabric on the inside of the collar adds a softer feel against the skin, enhancing comfort, especially when the jacket is fully zipped up.

The DWR coating may have worn off. Clean the jacket thoroughly and reapply a DWR treatment according to the product's instructions. Ensure the jacket is washed and dried correctly before reapplication.

Gently clean the zipper teeth with a soft brush and mild soap. Lubricate the zipper with a graphite pencil or a specialized zipper lubricant.

This can sometimes occur due to improper washing or storage. Ensure the jacket is completely dry and aired out. If the stickiness persists, it might be a material degradation issue, and specific care might be needed.
