No, this hose is designed specifically for drainage and water removal tasks and is not certified for potable water.
While the hose is reinforced for durability, it is designed for standard pool and pond pump pressures; avoid connecting it to high-pressure municipal water lines.
No, the package includes the hose pipe only; any necessary pumps or clamps must be purchased separately.
While it is weather-resistant, storing the hose out of direct sunlight when not in use will significantly extend its lifespan.
The 1-inch measurement refers to the standard connection size for compatibility with pump ports.
Check the hose length for kinks or sharp bends and clear any debris trapped in the connector.
Ensure the hose clamp is tightened firmly and verify that the pump's outlet seal is not damaged.
Place the hose in a warm area for a few minutes to soften the material before uncoiling it for use.
To set up the hose, simply align the 1-inch connector with your pump’s discharge port and secure it using a standard hose clamp or threaded fitting. Before starting, check for any obstructions in the line. Compatibility is generally high with most 1-inch submersible and pool pumps, but always verify your equipment's outlet size first. For care and maintenance, flush the hose with clean water after every use to prevent sediment build-up. Always store the hose in a cool, dry place and try to roll it in large loops rather than folding it to prevent structural damage to the reinforcement mesh.
