Setup, Compatibility & Care
For optimal performance, the Sirrus X 3.0 should be assembled by a professional to ensure the hydraulic brakes are bled correctly and the shifting is calibrated. The frame is designed with durability in mind, but routine maintenance is essential. Keep the chain clean and lightly lubricated to maintain the efficiency of the Shimano Cues components. Regularly inspect the hydraulic brake pads for wear, especially if you ride in wet or gritty conditions. Ensure tyre pressure is adjusted according to your terrain: lower pressure provides better grip and comfort on gravel, while higher pressure reduces rolling resistance on smooth tarmac. Always clean the frame with mild soap and water, avoiding high-pressure washers that can force water into sensitive bearings.
