Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Determine the desired height and position for each holdback on the wall, typically on either side of the window frame.
- Mark the screw hole locations.
- Drill pilot holes and insert appropriate wall anchors if necessary (e.g., for drywall).
- Secure the holdbacks to the wall using screws (ensure you use screws suitable for your wall type).
Compatibility:
These holdbacks are compatible with most standard curtains. They are best suited for curtains that are not excessively heavy or voluminous. Consider the width of your curtain when fully open to ensure the holdbacks are spaced appropriately.
Care:
Clean the holdbacks with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the antique brass finish. Periodically check that the screws remain tight to ensure the holdbacks are securely fastened to the wall.
