Product Information

Full details

The Magellan 1500i presentation scanner from Datalogic is small in size but packed with performance, ideal for retail, point of sale, pharmacy, customer service, self-checkout, and kiosks. It features a space-saving design with a large reading area, enabling fast sweep scanning of 1D, 2D, and Digimarc barcodes, even from poorly printed labels or smartphone screens. This scanner optimizes readability by adjusting illumination and depth of field and its performance is unaffected by plexiglass barriers. Designed for ease of use, it offers efficient cable routing, clean lines, and comes in black or white. It operates in Stand Mode for hands-free usage or Presentation Mode for handheld use, with automatic activation via a built-in accelerometer and Datalogic's Green Spot Technology for targeted scanning. The Magellan 1500i is equipped with adaptive illumination that eliminates flicker and reduces brightness to minimize eye strain, automatically adjusting to barcodes for seamless transitions between printed and mobile scanning. Its 100% LED lighting is safer and more reliable than laser-based scanning, with a mix of near-infrared and deep red lighting for comfort and performance. This elegant scanner has a small footprint of 8 x 9 cm and a tough industrial design with an IP52 rated enclosure supporting multiple drops of up to 1.2 m. It offers various mounting options, including magnetic and wall mounts, for easy positioning and switching between fixed or handheld scanning, ensuring prioritized performance for capturing barcodes, coupons, and images.
