Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation is key for a successful installation. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust before attempting to fix the trim.
- Measurement: Measure the area precisely and mark the trim accordingly.
- Cutting: Use a fine-tooth saw or heavy-duty shears to trim the plastic to size. Smooth any burrs with light sandpaper if necessary.
- Mounting: Choose an appropriate fixing method based on the wall surface.
- *Grab Adhesive*: Best for permanent, heavy-duty bonds on masonry or plaster.
- *Silicone*: Good for areas with potential moisture exposure.
- *Double-Sided Tape*: Ideal for smooth, clean surfaces where a non-invasive finish is preferred.
- *Poly Top Pins*: Best for wood or soft surfaces where mechanical fastening is required.
For care, simply wipe down the surface with a damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that may scratch the clear finish.
