Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Edding M 9 Cutter comes ready for use. To extend the blade, slide the button forward. To retract, slide it back. To snap off a used segment, carefully align the scored line with the slot on the removable tail-piece and apply firm pressure.
Compatibility: This cutter is designed for general-purpose cutting of various materials including paper, cardstock, plastic films, light cardboard, and soft foams. It is not intended for heavy-duty cutting of metal, wood, or thick, dense materials.
Care: Keep the blade mechanism clean from dust and debris. Store the cutter with the blade retracted. To clean the exterior, use a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or solvents that could damage the plastic casing. Replace blades when they become dull or chipped to ensure optimal performance and safety.
