Full details

The Victron Smart Battery Sense is a wireless battery voltage and temperature sensor designed for Victron MPPT Solar chargers. It communicates system information directly to your smartphone via the free VictronConnect app. When used with MultiPlus-II inverter/chargers, it provides on-battery temperature and voltage sensing, allowing for accurate temperature compensation during battery charge cycles. This dongle is essential for adding on-battery sensing capabilities to MultiPlus-II models if they are not connected to a GX device and CANbus battery. It can be used in systems with or without a GX device. In systems without a GX device, the dongle's data becomes the primary source for voltage and temperature information, which can be utilized by other connected devices for voltage compensation. The dongle can sense battery temperature using its on-board sensor when mounted directly onto the battery case.
