The Subsonic Protec-Max Protective Shell is an essential accessory for Nintendo Switch 2 owners looking to balance durability with gameplay comfort. This hardshell case is designed for users who need drop and scratch resistance without hindering access to essential controls; however, it is important to note that it adds a slight amount of bulk, which may affect compatibility with some third-party carrying cases.

Yes, this shell is designed to protect the body and sides, meaning it is compatible with most standard tempered glass or film screen protectors.
No, the TPU material provides a semi-matte, grippy texture that is designed to stay secure in your hands.
The case is precision-cut to maintain access to the console's features, including the kickstand functionality.
Gently pull back on the top corners of the shell, starting from one side, to release the grip of the TPU frame.
Ensure that the case is fully snapped onto the chassis and that no dust or debris is preventing a flush fit.
Check that the case edges are correctly aligned; ensure no material is obstructing the Joy-Con release button path.
To install the shell, simply align the console with the bottom of the case and gently press the top edges until the shell clicks into place. Ensure all cutouts align perfectly with the ports and vents before use. Compatibility is specific to the Nintendo Switch 2 console. For maintenance, wipe the surface with a dry or lightly dampened microfiber cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive sponges, as these may damage the TPU finish over time. If the case becomes loose after extensive use, ensure no debris has accumulated between the console and the inner lining of the shell.
