This Monument drain auger is best suited for smaller drains such as sinks, urinals, and other similar-sized pipes where clogs are typically caused by hair, soap scum, or food particles.

The cable extends up to 7.5 meters (25 feet) in length, allowing it to reach most common clogs within household drain lines.

While it can reach 25 feet, this auger is primarily designed for smaller branch lines. For deeper or larger main line blockages, a longer and potentially thicker cable may be required.

After use, rinse the cable thoroughly with water to remove any debris. It is crucial to dry the cable completely before retracting it to prevent rust and maintain its condition.

The cable has a diameter of 6mm, which is equivalent to 1/4 inch.

This is a manual drain clearing tool. It is not designed to be used with chemical drain cleaners.

It means the cable and handle mechanism of the 3344K model can be used as a replacement part or refill for the Monument MON3313 drain auger if needed.

Ensure the thumbscrew is loosened. Try a slight rotation of the crank handle while gently pushing. Check for immediate sharp bends or obstructions near the drain opening.

Loosen the thumbscrew slightly. Try gently pulling the cable back a few inches before attempting to rotate again. The clog may be too dense or solid for this tool.

Clean the cable thoroughly and dry it completely. Apply a light coating of a rust inhibitor or silicone spray designed for tools. Ensure it is stored in a dry environment.

Check that the thumbscrew is properly loosened. Ensure no debris is caught in the crank mechanism. If the clog is severe, the resistance may be normal; try a different approach or tool.
