GRIPIT Fixings feature a patented slim gripping wing design that folds out behind plasterboard for a secure and effective hold. Ideal for DIY and trade, they can be used to hang curtain rails, bookshelves, kitchen and bathroom units, radiators, boilers, and wall-mounted TVs. Unlike traditional fixings that may fail over time, GRIPIT fixings offer a long-lasting solution. Their design ensures easy positioning and installation, providing a strong and secure fixing for most wall-mounted items. The load is spread over twice the diameter of the fixing, ensuring even stress distribution over a wide area. Suitable for 9.5 to 15mm thick plasterboard, GRIPIT fixings are simple to install: mark the location, drill a hole using the recommended flat bit, tap in the GRIPIT, and insert the bolt. A simple twist deploys the GRIPIT wings behind the board. The Blue GRIPIT fixings come with M8 machine bolts. GRIPIT fixings are reusable by turning the wing screws to release and remove. For double thickness plasterboard or dot and dab adhesive, the GRIPIT Undercutting Tool (sold separately) creates a recess for the wings. As seen on BBC's Dragons' Den, these fixings can safely support items up to 113kg. The 25mm fixings have a maximum load of 225kg, with a safe load of up to 113kg. Each pack contains 8 Gripit 25mm Blue Plasterboard Fixings with 8 M8x30mm Fixing Bolts. The product dimensions are H:16.0 x W:2.0 x D:10.0 cm and it comes with a 1-year guarantee.
