The Lyyt Lamp Socket Converter is an essential accessory for homeowners and office managers looking to expand their bulb compatibility without the need for rewiring or replacing light fixtures. This convenient adapter bridges the gap between B22 Bayonet Cap sockets and E27 Edison Screw bulbs, offering a cost-effective way to utilize modern LED or smart bulb technology in existing hardware. While it provides significant versatility, users should note that the converter adds a small amount of length to the bulb assembly, which may affect fit in enclosed or shallow lampshades.

Yes, as long as the bulb is dimmable and the fixture's dimmer switch is compatible with the bulb type, the converter will pass the signal through.
No, this converter is limited to a maximum of 60 watts. Exceeding this limit can cause overheating and damage.
It is intended for dry, indoor use. Avoid placing it in areas directly exposed to water or high humidity.
Yes, the adapter is fully compatible with LED, CFL, and halogen bulbs that use an E27 base.
No, it is a physical adapter only and does not transform the electrical voltage.
Ensure the converter is fully locked into the B22 bayonet pins and that the E27 bulb is screwed tightly into the converter.
Check that the bayonet pins on your fixture are not bent and that no debris is inside the socket preventing a flush fit.
Installing the Lyyt converter is straightforward: ensure the power is switched off at the wall or circuit breaker, then simply press and twist the adapter into the existing B22 bayonet socket just like a standard bulb. Once locked into place, screw your E27 bulb into the new adapter. To maintain the life of your converter, always ensure the bulb wattage does not exceed the 60W limit. Keep the unit away from moisture and avoid using it in fully enclosed fixtures that may trap excessive heat, as this can degrade the internal contacts over time.
