Clematis ‘Westerplatte’ is a stunning perennial climber featuring deciduous mid-green leaves and beautiful, large, deep maroon-red flowers. It blooms from early summer through autumn, sometimes with a second flush in late summer. This deciduous plant sheds its leaves in winter and can be pruned in early spring for new growth and flowers. It reaches an ultimate height of 1.5-2.5m and an ultimate spread of 0.5-1m, making it ideal for walls, trellises, and pergolas. The deep red flowers with a hint of purple provide a spectacular floral display in your garden. Please note that as live plants are unique, the item received may differ from the images shown, which are for illustrative purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a grower's pot. Depending on the season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth, and deciduous plants may be shipped without leaves.
