Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure both the source device and the display device are powered off.
- Connect one end of the Scart cable to the Scart output port on your source device (e.g., DVD player, VCR).
- Connect the other end of the Scart cable to the Scart input port on your display device (e.g., TV).
- Power on the source device, followed by the display device.
- Select the appropriate input/source on your TV to view content from the connected device.
Compatibility:
This cable is compatible with any devices featuring a standard male Scart connector. This includes a wide range of older televisions, DVD players, VCRs, PVRs, set-top boxes, and some gaming consoles. It is a fully wired 21-pin cable, ensuring maximum compatibility with devices that utilize all Scart functionalities.
Care:
- Avoid sharply bending or kinking the cable, as this can damage internal wiring.
- Keep connectors clean by gently wiping them with a dry, soft cloth.
- Store the cable away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
- When disconnecting, pull the cable by the connector plug, not by the cable itself, to avoid stressing the connection point.
