Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before initial operation, ensure the unit is placed on level ground and check the oil level using the dipstick; only use the recommended engine oil grade. Verify that the fuel tank is filled with fresh, clean gasoline.
Maintenance Tips:
- Check Air Filter: Inspect the filter after every 8-10 hours of use, especially in dusty environments, to ensure the engine breathes properly.
- Spark Plug Inspection: Clean or replace the spark plug periodically if you notice uneven engine idling.
- Lubrication: Keep the springs and moving parts free of debris and lightly greased if necessary.
- Storage: If storing for more than 30 days, empty the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer to prevent gumming in the carburetor.
