The Victorian Straight Lock Handle is an ideal choice for homeowners and renovators seeking a timeless, period-inspired aesthetic for their internal or external timber doors. Designed specifically for use with a mortice sashlock, these handles provide reliable access control for spaces like home offices and cupboards, though they require a compatible sashlock mechanism to function as a locking set.

No, the Victorian Straight Lock Handle is designed for use with a mortice sashlock, which must be purchased separately.
No, these handles are specifically intended for use with timber doors.
While it can be used on external timber doors, it is best suited for sheltered entrances as it is not rated for heavy-duty commercial security.
The package includes a pair of handles and the necessary fixing screws for a standard installation.
These handles are designed to be compatible with most standard interior and exterior timber doors found in residential properties.
Check and tighten the fixing screws on the rose plate to ensure the handle is flush against the door surface.
Ensure the mortice sashlock spring is functioning correctly and verify the handle is properly aligned with the spindle.
To install, ensure your timber door is prepped with a hole pattern that matches your mortice sashlock. The handles are surface-mounted using the provided screws. For maintenance, clean the handle periodically with a soft, damp cloth to remove fingerprints and dust. Avoid using abrasive chemicals or metal polishes that could damage the silver finish. Periodically check that the fixing screws remain tight to prevent handle wobble over extended use.
