Full details

The Prologic Avenger Pod Kit is an ideal choice for carp anglers seeking a balance between structural integrity and portability. Designed for those who frequent various fishing environments, the kit provides a rock-solid foundation for three rods while maintaining a lightweight profile thanks to its high-grade anodised aluminium construction. While it offers excellent versatility for uneven banks, users should be aware that the compact design requires careful adjustment of the compression joints to ensure maximum stability during heavy-wind conditions.

Troubleshooting

Legs feel stiff when extending

Check the compression collar for dirt or dried mud; clean with a soft brush and a damp cloth.

The main bar slips under pressure

Ensure the tension screw is tightened firmly; if it persists, check that the inner tube is clean and free of lubricant or grease.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Lightweight yet durable anodised finish
Highly adjustable legs for uneven terrain
Easy to transport in the included compact bag
Secure compression joints reduce vibration

Cons

Not suitable for heavy-duty surf conditions
Requires manual tightening of joints
Standard size may feel small for extra-long distance setups

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the Avenger Pod is straightforward: begin by locking the central bar to your desired length using the tension screw. Once the main frame is secure, attach the buzz bars to the provided mounting points. Adjust each of the four legs individually to ensure the unit sits level on your chosen surface.

Compatibility is universal for most standard bank sticks and bite alarms that feature a 3/8 BSF thread. For care, keep the compression joints free of grit and mud; if you fish in sandy environments, occasionally wipe the extendable poles with a damp cloth to ensure the anodised finish remains smooth and the adjustment mechanisms operate freely. Always store the pod dry in its bag to prevent internal oxidation.
